Favorite Spring Nail Polishes
These are my favorite spring nail polishes.
Lemonade from Orly is my favorite yellow. It is a cool-toned lemonade yellow.
China Glaze's For Audrey is the exact same colour as a Tiffany & Co. box. A beautiful blue/green turquoise shade.
China Glaze in Peachy Keen is as exactly as it says...a peachy orange creme. It is orange but is light enough to have a peachy feel. I like to think of it as apricot.
China Glaze's Sea Spray is a pale baby blue with a slight silver shimmer.
Zoya's Miley is a milky lavender, very pastel. It was very shear, 3-4 coats needed!
OPI's Mod About You is a very popular creamy baby pink. I found it very difficult to not get streaks when applying, it seemed 'gloopy'. I used some nail polish thinner and it seemed to help, but I still ended up using 3 coats.
Essie in Cascade Cool is a cool-toned light pink. It has blue based undertones and was a dream to apply, not streaky at all in 2 coats.
Revlon's Popular is a very light baby pink with silver glitter. It can be opaque in 3 coats, but I like it over a base coat of another polish.
Sally Hansen's Breezy Blue is a pale baby blue. It is strangely a very shear polish, requiring several coats to obtain opacity.
Mint Sorbet from Sally Hansen is a beautiful sea-foam green. Two coats and it was opaque.
Rimmel's Wild Orchid is a creamy mid-toned lavender Lovely on the nails and easily applied with 2 coats. My only negative is the wide brush. Although there is a way around this brush...you scrape the brush from each side on the wide side, then dip the brush back in the bottle and scrape on the opposite sides, and you'll have a regular size brush to work with.
