31DC2013: Day 30 is A TUTORIAL

This is the final day of the 30 day challenge and it is A Tutorial.  I am not a big TV watcher, but I never miss Dexter and sadly it is all done :(  This is a finger print manicure in memory of the show :<)  I used Sally Hansen's White On (need a new bottle) and Joe Fresh's Cabernet.  I initially saw this manicure on Pinterest with no link to the creator, so I did a quick search and found many links to follow!!

I think this challenge has been a great learning experience and has forced me to try some new nail art that I have been avoiding :)  It has also been fun to see everyone else's creations!

Mani Mondays - Favourite Nude

It's Mani Monday!!  I think the name says it all…very simple; every Monday I will do a themed manicure and will blog about it. This week's theme is FAVOURITE NUDE!

Nudes have always been a tough one for me as I have very fair skin.  Anyway I think my favourite nude right now is OPI's Don't Pretzel My Button.  It's a beige/pink creme from OPI's Germany collection.  I think it is the cool-blue undertones in it to counteract my redness.  So...here are my mannequin hands :)

I guess this is kind of Supernatural??  I'm not really sure what it is suppose to be, it looks more cartoon-ish than supernatural.  I used Nicole by OPI White Textured, Sally Hansen's White On and Black Out.  I glued on the googly eyes :)

I love me some jeans!  Jeans are so versatile, they can be dressed up or down and they are ageless, anyone can wear them.  There are so many different ones and it is 'a fashion' I can't live without.

Mani Mondays - Stripes

This is my blue inspired waterfall manicure, with a twist.  There are many tutorials out there and I am not sure who the initial creator was but here are some:

I used Essie's Midnight Cami, Covergirl's Out of the Blue, Color Club's Hydrangea Kiss, China Glaze's Sea Spray and Zoya's NYX.  I think this would look gorgeous with Holiday/Christmas colours!
