I love a a fun chunky Christmas glitter topper polish and round glitters are somewhat rare, so this is one of my favs.  This is KB Shimmer's Kringle All The Way over OPI's You're So Outta Lime.  Kringle All The Way is from the 2013 Winter collection and You're So Outta Lime is from the Summer 2014 Neon collection.

Today is the first day of our #xmasnorules and the theme today is snow!  I used September Sky from Nine Zero Lacquer and added some snowflake decals.  Its simple but I think it looks pretty good.

The nails on my left hand are a mess, so I decided to used my right hand...it was interesting trying to photograph and just get a simple hand placement.

KB Shimmer's Dark & Twisty

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!  This polish is from KB Shimmer's Fall 2015 collection.  Dark & Twisty is a black jelly based polish with metallic glitters in a rainbow of colours.  I used 3 coats for full opacity and decided on a matte top coat.

Pandora is a rich medium to dark purple polish with scattered holo.  Two easy coats was all it took to achieve opacity.  It is another beauty from piCture pOlish.

This is Avon's Saturn and it's a burnt orange with scattered holographic through out.  I achieved opacity with 2 coats.  I think this is the ultimate Fall colour!

This is really not a neon, but a washed out neon.  This is Maybelline's Color Show: Bleach Neon in Ultra Violet from the Summer of 2014  It is a bright lilac with pink undertones.

This is piCture pOlish's Voodoo.  Voodoo is a vampy red/burgundy/brown polish with gold shimmer.  What a fabulous Fall polish!

Today is orchid and really it is just a different version of purple. Iris My Case is a beautiful KB Shimmer polish.  It is a purple based glitter and is filled with glitters in pink, purple, white, periwinkle and blue.  I achieved full opacity with 3 coats...very easy to work with.

Green is the colour of the day and this is OPI's Stranger Tides.  It is from the Spring 2011 Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Collection  It is kind of a khaki colour but greyed out...if that makes any sense.  Regardless, I love it...it is such a pretty muted green!  I achieved opacity with 2 coats.

Color Club's The Uptown

The Uptown is a purple/blue jelly based multi-coloured flakie polish that shifts between copper, green and yellow.  I think you could achieve opacity, or close to opacity, but I put it over one coat of OPI's Who are you Calling Bossy. This polish is from the 2013 Girl About Town Fall collection.

#summernorules - LEMONADE

Who doesn't like a cold glass of Lemonade in the Summer.  For this manicure I used the very popular Sally Hansen's (old formula) Mellow Yellow.   As with most yellows, it is not the easiest polish to work with, so I added some of China Glaze's Fairy Dust on for good measure.

#summernorules - FAV SUMMER RED

Today is RED in the #summernorules!!  I normally don't wear red, it is another tricky colour with my fair skin.  This is OPI's Red Hot Rio and it's from the 2014 Brazilian collection.  This cherry red, jelly like creme was easy to apply, with only 2 coats. I have been told that it is a dupe for OPI's Vodka & Caviar...which is very difficult to get your hands on, so I'm so happy I have this one.

Jamberry 'Burberry' Inspired Nail Stickers

I was kindly sent some Jamberry Nail Strips by Katherine LaVergne.

I chose to do a couple of accent nails on my ring and middle fingers.  I really like Burberry pattern, so I selected the Burberry inspired strips.  I used OPI's You're So Vanilla on my index finger and OPI's Lost on Lombard on pinky finger.

I had no real problems applying the strips or removing them.  My only complaint is that they were somewhat transparent...if I had long nails, my visible nail line would have shown.  I guess a base coat could be applied, but not sure if the strips would adhere to nail polish.

I got about 5-6 days of wear before they started to lift, so I removed them.  I would use these again as an accent nail/nails.
