Jelly Sandwich With a Flower Instead of Glitter !!

This is a jelly sandwich with a flower instead of glitter, using Loaded Lacquer's Pomegranate.  I started with a coat of Pomegranate, then created a flower with dots using Orly's Goth & OPI's I Just Can't Cope-acabana.  Then I applied another thin coat of Pomegranate.  I also tried a matte top coat after and I think it really creates a cool effect.

This is such a cool technique.  I first tried this during the #31DC2013 with a teal green here.

If you are looking for some unique and high quality polish that is easy to work with, I would recommend taking a look at Loaded Lacquer.  They can be found here.

Nail Art Design from some great You Tubers!

I'm not one of the most artistic people in the world, but I thought I must be able to do some kind of nail art besides dots with my dotting tools. So where do you go when you want to learn...You Tube!!  These are 2 relatively simple designs I tried.  Just click on the links to watch.

What do you do when your tips start to chip?

So, I was thinking how can I prolong my manicure after the tips start to chip, without just removing the polish and starting all over again.  Here is my solution...get your handy-dandy dotting tool out and dot the tips!  Throw another coat of top coat on and voila, it will last a few more days.

PS:  My nails never have the opportunity to chip :)
