#30DaysofColourChallenge - GREEN

This is a month long swatch challenge for September.  A different manicure every day!

Green is the colour of the day and this is OPI's Stranger Tides.  It is from the Spring 2011 Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Collection  It is kind of a khaki colour but greyed out...if that makes any sense.  Regardless, I love it...it is such a pretty muted green!  I achieved opacity with 2 coats.

#summernorules - FAV NEON

Put your sunglasses on because today's theme is NEON.

Initially I was just going to use Finger Paints Silkscreen Green...one of my favorite neons.  It is from the 2012 Summer Neon collection.  It is an eye catching, bright neon green.  I should have used a white base, but instead I used 3 coats for opacity.

I decided to jazz it up a bit and add some flowers and such.  I used:

• Essie's Blanc
• OPI's I Just Can't Copa-cabana
• KB Shimmer's Lei It Again & Sarong Place, Sarong Time

OPI's You Are So Outta Lime

This is OPI's You Are So Outta Lime and is a beautiful bright green from the 2014 Neon collection.  I would say this is not a neon, but that's just my opinion.  Regardless, I love this polish...it is a tad tricky to apply, but I eventually got it opaque with 3 coats and a top coat!

May #30DaysofColourChallenge - GREEN/GRADIENT

This is a month long swatch challenge for May, a total of eleven manicures!

Today is Green and or Gradient.  I keep my nails short so it is difficult to do a gradient, so I selected green and I used some OPI Pure Lacquer Nail Apps in Fishnet.  I have never really used nail strips until last week so it took me a bit to figure out the best way to apply them.  These are real nail polish stickers and I found them easier to use than ones that aren't really nail polish.  These are such fun and  pretty aqua stickers!

Zoya's Chita

My Pixie Dusts have not had much love lately, so I thought I would dust Chita off today for a pretty manicure.

Chita is part of the 2013 Fall Collection.  This one coater is a matte-textured medium green with gold sparkle.  I like it without top coat, so no top coat for this mani.

I'm so glad I pulled this out, such a lovely polish and so sparkly in the sun!

#springnorules - GREEN !!

It's only 3 more days until Spring...let's hope the weather turns more Spring-like soon.  Green is the first theme of the Spring Thaw Nail Art Challenge!  I used my fav textured polishes, Zoya Pixie Dusts, in Chita and Vespa.  With these 2 beauties I don't think nail art is necessary...the polish says it all.

31DC2013: Day 4 is GREEN

I've wanted to try this Sugar Spun manicure for so long.  I used Walk on the Wild Side and LOL, both Essence polishes.  I wish I could get my hands on a better selection of Essence polishes because the formula is great.
