#30DaysofColourChallenge - YELLOW

This is a month long swatch challenge for September. A different manicure every day!

Today's colour is yellow and I chose Sinful Color's Unicorn. Pale yellows are infamous for having a streaky and difficult to apply formula. This one was no different, I applied 4 coats to achieve opacity. I love the colour, but is it worth 4 coats?

#summernorules - LEMONADE

Who doesn't like a cold glass of Lemonade in the Summer. For this manicure I used the very popular Sally Hansen's (old formula) Mellow Yellow. As with most yellows, it is not the easiest polish to work with, so I added some of China Glaze's Fairy Dust on for good measure.

#summernorules - SUNSHINE

I am a fair-weathered gal, so I love the sun! This manicure's theme is Sunshine. OPI's I Just Can't Cope-acabana is the most flattering yellow I own. It is a gorgeous yellow from the 2014 Spring/Summer Brazilian collection.

Orly's Lemonade & OPI's In True Stefani Fashion

I love yellow, but I have a hard time finding one that looks half decent with my skin tone. This is Orly's Lemonade with OPI's In True Stefani Fashion as a topper. Lemonade is from the 2010 Spring Sweet collection and has a great formula, being opaque with 3 coats. In True Stefani Fashion is from the January 2014 collection and is a clear based glitter with both tiny and large silver glitter.

#30DaysofColourChallenge - NEON

This is a month long swatch challenge for April. A different manicure every day!

Day 21 is a neon polish. This is Orly's Glowstick and it is part of the 2012 Feel the Vibe collection. Wowsa, this is the most 'neon' neon I have! I used a white base and achieved opacity with 2 coats.

This is another one that is great when used as a pedicure!!

Day 3 is yellow! This is Sun Upon My Skin from China Glaze. It is a beauty from the 2014 Off Shore Summer Collection. This yellow has a pretty good formula; I had no problems with streaking and it self-leveled nicely.
