Loaded Lacquer's Innocent Until Proven Guilty

Innocent Until Proven Guilty is a clear based glitter consisting of matte pink skulls, squares and bars, holographic silver skulls and stars, matte lavender large hex, dots and stars, multi sized holographic turquoise hexagons and multi-sized silver holographic hex.

I used the polish over OPI's Amazon...Amazoff on my small, middle and index fingers.  Zoya's Vega is on my ring finger.

#springnorules - RAIN

Rain is the 4th manicure in the Spring Thaw Nail Art Challenge.  I struggled with this one for some reason.  I finally decided on just a colour (blue) and picked my fav blue...Zoya's Dream.

Here are my fails :(  Yep, I tried!

Up next is April Fool's Day...that should be interesting.  Here is the schedule for the challenge, if you are interested...remember no rules!

Loaded Lacquer's Mintallica

Mintallica is a clear based glitter consisting of multi-sized matte mint hexagons and dots, metallic gunmetal hexagons and holographic gunmetal hexagons.

I thought I would go for a jelly sandwich with Mintallica.  I used China Glaze's Keepin' it Teal as the jelly!  Not a bad combo.

#springnorules - PASTEL

Spring might just be in the wind in my neck of the woods...thank goodness!

Pastel is the third manicure of the Spring Thaw Nail Art Challenge.  I used China Glaze's At Vase Value, OPI's 4 In The Morning, OPI's Mod About You and OPI's You're Such A Budapest.  I applied some matte topcoat over 4 In The Morning then some random dots with the remaining colours and voila a pastel manicure.

Up next is Rain.  Here is the schedule for the challenge, if you are interested...remember no rules!

Loaded Lacquer's Cuts Like a Knife

Red is not always my friend, so I hesitated on this polish, but I'm glad I got it!!  It is so stunning...I didn't even attempt to pair it with anything else.  Cuts Like a Knife is a clear based glitter with holographic red hex, metallic red hex, matte crimson red hex, fiery holographic red hex, red diamonds and red dots. Opacity was achieved with 3 coats.

Matte Topcoat

What more can I say...it is a fabulous polish.

Glitter Lamb's Mickey & Minnie

Mickey & Minnie is such an adorable polish.  It is described as 'a clear base filled with bubblegum pink minnie heads, black mickey heads, large chunky silver shreds, tiny gold hex mix, white dots and very tiny gold glitter.'  I have loved Micky & Minnie fovever so this is such a fun polish for me.  I paired it with Essie's Bachelorette Bash.  Check out the sparkly goodness.

Spring Dotticure is the second manicure of the Spring Thaw Nail Art Challenge!  I love my dotting tools, you can do so much with a simple dot!  I used OPI's Just Can't Cope-acabana and Essie's Mod Square & Bikini so Teeny.

Beyond the Nail's Birthday Celebration

Birthday Celebration is like a glitter party on your nails.  It's a milky white crelly-based polish with different shaped green, blue, purple, orange, pink, red, and yellow glitter.  I applied 3 coats to achieve opacity.  There was no glitter fishing necessary, so it was easy to work with.

You can find Beyond the Nail's Etsy store here.  Also check them out on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

#springnorules - GREEN !!

It's only 3 more days until Spring...let's hope the weather turns more Spring-like soon.  Green is the first theme of the Spring Thaw Nail Art Challenge!  I used my fav textured polishes, Zoya Pixie Dusts, in Chita and Vespa.  With these 2 beauties I don't think nail art is necessary...the polish says it all.

Up next is Spring Dotticure on Thursday March 20th ;)  Here is the schedule for the challenge, if you are interested...remember no rules!

OPI's Gaining Mole-mentum

Gaining Mole-mentum is part of the 2014 Spring Muppet's Most Wanted collection. It is a clear based glitter topper with gold, rose gold and silver shards of glitter.  I applied it over OPI's Suzi says Da!   It's really hard to distinguish between the different colours of glitter, unless you are in direct sunlight.  I really wasn't impressed with this when I got it, but I think it's pretty cool on the nails. Next time I think I will try a lighter polish under it.

Unique glitter for OPI :)

OPI's Let's Do Anything We Want !

Let's Do Anything We Want is part of the 2014 Spring Muppet's Most Wanted collection.  This glitter polish is clear based and consists of small white, 2 different pinks and larger square white glitter.  On the nail, in the right light, the darker pink glitter actually looks pretty dark, almost black.  This glitter was easy to work with, no fishing necessary.  I applied it over Sinful Colors Beverly Hills.

Please ignore the boo boo on my ring finger.

Great subtle glitter!
