OPI's Red Hot Rio

I have a love/hate relationship with red nail polish.  I like red nail polish on other people but it usually washes me out and just doesn't do it for me.  Only 3% of my collection is red and I usually only pull it out around the holidays for nail art :-S

Anca over at darkntwistynails is the 'queen' of red, she has a wonderful collection of red polishes and they all look so fabulous on her:)  Anyway, she has inspired me to wear more red polish!

Here is Red Hot Rio from OPI's 2014 Spring/Summer Brazil collection.  It is a classic red creme, but somewhat jelly like.  It was relatively easy to work with, I applied 3 coats for full opacity.



My quest continues for some more red in my life.  Any recommendations for me??

    Red looks so good on you, I can't help it... I LOVE this polish on you!

    Can you believe I didn't get this one? Jup, a red polish I skipped.
    But I have to admit, I'm having a hard time with that little fact and I might just cave and pick this up, lol.

    This looks fantastic! I think red looks so attractive on others! You know I have no suggestions because red and I just can't get get our relationship to work out. I seriously think I own 5 reds.
