This is the final manicure in the #nailartoct challenge.  What better costume then Jason's mask from the iconic Friday the 13th movie!!  I got my trusty dotting tool out and went to town.  I used Sally Hansen's White on and Black Out.

Zoya's Chita

This is one of my favourite Pixie Dust's.  It is a beautiful forest green textured polish with a gold micro glitter.  I achieved opacity with 3 coats.  The only negative, if you like lots of sparkle, is I found the excess texture took away from the sparkle.

This is another green that will be fantastic for Christmas nail art.

Mani Monday - Halloween

It's Mani Monday!!  I think the name says it all…very simple; every Monday I will do a themed manicure and will blog about it. This week's theme is Halloween!

I don't know about you gals, but I am coming to an end with ideas on any new Halloween ideas...so I just combined a few.  I used Sally Hansen's White On & Black Out, Sinful Colors Courtney Orange & Pumpkin Spice and Nicole by OPI White Textured.

Nubar's Passionate Purple

This is Nubar's Passionate Purple.  It is part of the 8 piece Cleopatra Collection that was released in the Spring of 2009.  This definitely is a Blurple.  It is a purple based polish with so much blue shimmer it looks more blue then purple.  It also has come pink shimmer.  I used 3 coats to get full opacity.  It was very difficult to photograph this polish and get the true colour.

I don't think Nubar is talked about enough!  I only have 4 of their polishes but wouldn't mind checking some more out.

This is a total steal from my 31DC2013 in September.  This is a finger print manicure.  I initially saw this manicure on Pinterest with no link to the creator, so I did a quick search and found many links to follow!!  I used Sally Hansen's White On and Joe Fresh's Cabernet.

Orly's Sparkling Garbage

Orly's Sparkling Garbage is part of the Summer 2013 Mash Up collection.  Sparkling Garbage is a green based jelly polish full of a crap ton of holographic glitter.  It was opaque with 3 coats.  I'm thinking it would be great with a base colour then used as a topper.

Not sure who named it, but it doesn't seem like garbage to me.

Mani Mondays - Gradient

I am getting tired of orange, black and white...so I thought I would switch it up and pull out some light colours.  Also a twist to a gradient manicure.  I used Sally Hansen's White On , Essie's Mint Candy Apple and Sinful Color's Mint Apple.

Today's theme is Pumpkin.  I love pumpkin anything...so yummy!  I applied a base of Born Pretty Store's Green Shimmer and for the pumpkins I used Essie's Fear or Desire and Sally Hansen's Black Out & Butterscotch.

Zoya's Carter

Carter is part of Zoya's 2013 Fall collection.  It is a rich purple textured polish with pink/purple 'pixie dust.'  It is a bit on the thick side, but I used 2 coats with no problems.  This polish is a stunner!

I really think Zoya does it best when it comes to textured polishes.  They never seem to disappoint!

Today's theme is a Graveyard.  IMO graveyards have one purpose.  Sorry, but I am kind of a wimp and graveyards creep me out, so I guess this is my graveyard and of course it's purple ;)

It is Orly's Fowl Play and I believe it's a close dupe for Howl You Doin' one of the new Monster's Ball collection from China Glaze and OPI's Merry Midnight.
